The Firs is a residential home without nursing, situated in Witheridge, a pleasant village in the area of Tiverton in the county of Devon, which is housed in an elegant period building. The detached property provides spacious and homely communal rooms with a large, landscaped garden. All bedrooms are fully furnished, complete with a television and all rooms have en-suite facilities. There is a stairlift on the short flight of stairs onto the first floor, to facilitate access for the less mobile. The sensory garden has been fully landscaped and contains interesting and stimulating features such as wind chimes and a water feature, along with pleasant seating areas. The Firs provides professional and high-quality care, combined with a warm, relaxed family atmosphere. The home is located withn a thriving village community. With very strong links to the Church, Primary School and Art Café, where our residents like to visit. Our local Pastor regularly visits The Firs providing Prayers and reflection to those residents who would like to participate. We have a strong connection with our local GP and District Nurses who work out of Witheridge medical centre, which a short walk from The Firs.
